The Harvey Effect

R.A. Dickey who? Since Matt Harvey slid into the Mets rotation, fans already wiped away R.A. Dickey's Cy Young last season. Yes, I'm sure many miss Dickey but he's struggling in Toronto and is not going to have another Cy Young season. Harvey, on the other hand, is 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA and is looking like a Cy Young winner this season. Here's a breakdown of Harvey's performance: April 3 -- Won April 8 -- Won April 15 -- Won April 19 -- Won April 24 -- No Decision April 29 -- No Decision May 7 -- No Decision May 12 -- No Decision May 17 -- No Decision May 22 -- No Decision Harvey is due to pitch tonight against the Yankees in the Subway Series, but it looks like Mother Nature is going to win this one. Until then see ya at CitiField. -- Joe Boesch
